Hi Joe,

It's been a while since the radio throttle and base issues. I have upgraded all mine and just got the radio base back with the upgrade. No more zany layout ID changes.

All my radios (Cab04PR) have been upgraded. I did all of the radio boards myself and modified the throttle with on/off switches, no time out period, and short antennae while I was at it. Just the addition of the on/off switch makes a big difference with the operators. They don't have to remember to press the HORN button anymore and the no time out period does away with "Why can't I control my train" or "I lost control of my train!" Those two things make a big improvement on operation enjoyment. After a couple of sessions with them I can be confident in saying the radio is almost bullet proof now. I it now.

Have you done the radio upgrades with your system yet?
