Did this thread kinda die because of the video efforts?

I am wondering how you manage to make joins on the curved yard tracks.

This thread is pending me finishing up video volume 5, yes.

The layout was designed following the curve guidelines here on the Layout Design SIG web site. The curves in the yards are at 5X my longer rolling stock, which makes coupling on curves in the yard quite reliable most of the time.

Check out the above curve rule-of-thumb link. The insight in this one link has transformed my layout efforts from pipe-dreams into designs where I know exactly how the rolling stock will look and what is needed to get reliable performance.
